How to Check Your Version
Open Settings, Apps, Jaiho Arcade on your phone and look for the version line. Compare it with the current release:
| Current release | Size | Minimum Android |
|---|---|---|
| version 23.1 | 36.9 MB | Android 5.0 and up |
If your number matches, there is nothing to do. If it is lower, update from the jaiho arcade original apk page.
How a Jaiho Arcade Update Works
Because Jaiho Arcade is not on Google Play, the Play Store will not update it for you. The app shows a notice when a newer build is ready. Accepting it, or downloading the current APK yourself, installs the new version on top of the old one.
- Download the current APK and check it is 36.9 MB.
- Open it. Android should say it will update the existing app rather than install a new one.
- Tap Update. Your games and settings stay, and your account is unaffected.
If Android offers to install it as a new app, or says "App not installed", the file you have is signed differently from the app on your phone. Do not uninstall to force it. Get the file again from the original APK page.
Only Trust a Release You Can Check
Messages and posts announcing a "new Jaiho update" with extra bonuses or unlocked features are a common way to push modified APKs. A real update has the same app name, installs over your current app without uninstalling, and asks for the same 8 permissions. If an "update" wants access to SMS, contacts or files, stop.
What Updating Does Not Back Up
Your account, balance and history are stored by the operator against your mobile number, so updating or reinstalling does not affect them. What the phone keeps locally, such as saved login sessions, sound settings or downloaded game assets, may reset after a reinstall. Make sure you know your login details before you uninstall anything.
We cannot restore accounts or balances. If something is missing after an update, contact support inside the app with your registered mobile number and a screenshot.
