What Wingo Is
Wingo is a colour prediction game that runs on a fixed timer. A new round opens every few minutes or less, depending on the room, and each round ends with one random number from 0 to 9. Every number carries a colour. You bet on what the result will be before the countdown closes. The wingo rules below are the common format found in Indian arcade games apps.
The Wingo Colour Chart
| Number | Colour | Big / small |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Red and violet | Small |
| 1, 3, 7, 9 | Green | 1, 3 small; 7, 9 big |
| 2, 4, 6, 8 | Red | 2, 4 small; 6, 8 big |
| 5 | Green and violet | Big |
Small is 0 to 4 and big is 5 to 9. Violet only appears on 0 and 5, which is why it pays more than red or green and lands less often.
Wingo Rules for a Round
- Pick a room. Rooms differ by timer length.
- Choose your bet. Green, red, violet, a single number, or big/small.
- Set your stake. Most versions show a small fee taken from each bet; the screen states it.
- Countdown. Betting closes a few seconds before the timer hits zero.
- Result. One number from 0 to 9 is drawn.
- Settle. Winning bets are paid at their rate. Losing bets are lost.
Payout structure in general terms
- Big/small and green/red pay close to double the stake.
- Violet pays more, because only two numbers carry it.
- An exact number pays the most, because only one result wins.
- On 0 or 5, red or green bets usually win at a reduced rate, because the result is split with violet.
The exact rates and fees are shown inside the game. Read them there before betting.
A Worked Wingo Round
You place three bets of 10 points in the same round: green, big, and the number 7.
- The result is 7. It is green, it is big, and it is your number. All three bets win, and the number bet pays far more than the other two.
The next round you bet 10 points on green and 10 on small.
- The result is 5: green and violet, and big. Your small bet loses. Your green bet wins, but at the reduced rate for a split result, so it returns less than a normal green win.
That second round is the one people forget about. Green "won", but you still finished the round down.
Is Wingo Skill or Chance?
Wingo is a game of chance. The number is random, and the history chart shown in the app does not predict the next draw. Paid "prediction" groups and signal channels cannot know the result, and many are run to take your money. The fee on each bet and the reduced pay on 0 and 5 give the house its edge over time.
Common Wingo Mistakes
- Following trend charts or prediction channels.
- Doubling the stake after a loss (the classic way to empty a balance on a timer game).
- Forgetting the fee taken from each bet.
- Betting every round without a break. Short timers make it easy to lose track.
- Expecting violet to appear soon because it has not for a while.
